There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.

Supporting individuals in healing, health and creating lasting change

I offer individual psychotherapy to adults and adolescents in person or online via Zoom. I am open to working with emotionally mature tweens as well. In general, I do long-term work with clients, which typically requires a commitment of at least 1 session per week. Some people find multiple sessions a week to be very helpful, and I may recommend it depending on the nature of your problem or your own desire for more frequent contact.

Consistent treatment produces faster and longer-lasting results. Having done years of my own work as a client, I understand the financial and personal commitment involved. I take my commitment to you and your mental health very seriously and will work tirelessly on your behalf.

My fee for a 50min session is $225.

A cozy living room with a black leather sofa, a matching armchair with a footrest, and a patterned rug. There are beige and cream pillows on the sofa and armchair. A side table with a lamp, some books, and decorative items is next to the sofa. The room has large windows with sheer curtains letting in natural light, along with indoor plants.

Supporting families and couples in improving communication and building better connection

My approach with families and couples is steady, relational, and grounded in the belief that relationships work best when everyone feels seen and understood. I work with couples, parents and their adult children as well as families with young children or teens still in the home together. I help each person slow down enough to notice what’s happening inside — identifying the emotions, assumptions, and intentions that often go unspoken but drive so much of the conflict.

Mentalization-based family therapy (MBTF) has become a meaningful part of my work — a way of helping families and couples understand not just what someone is feeling, but why. When families begin to see each other’s inner worlds with more clarity, communication softens, conflict becomes more manageable, and new patterns of connection emerge. It’s been a privilege to witness these shifts and to support families in building relationships that feel safer, steadier, and more attuned for the long haul. In practice, we will:

  • Develop emotional awareness and perspective-taking

  • Interrupt reactive cycles and reduce conflict

  • Build communication skills rooted in curiosity rather than defensiveness

  • Understand how stress, trauma, or past experiences shape current interactions

  • Support parents in mentalizing their children’s internal experiences

  • Helping children and teens articulate their feelings with more clarity

  • Creating space for repair, reflection, and new possibilities

My fee for family and couples work is $275 for 60min. sessions and $350 for 75min. sessions. We can decide together what the best fit for your situation is.

Supervision and Consultation

Supporting clinicians in becoming, growing and learning

I have been supervising and training new therapists since 2009. I find this work to be very rewarding. As a former teacher, I love to help therapists grow their therapeutic minds. My years running an internship program have also helped me understand the needs of a new therapist and the variety of needs of the clients that pass through your door. I can help you create a thriving private practice.

My approach is to support you toward becoming the therapist that is uniquely you. I will help you think through the transferences and countertransferences in the room and how to use that material for the benefit of you and your clients. You will identify your therapeutic modalities in our work together. We will address practical issues like creating and holding the therapeutic frame. I believe good supervision should strengthen and refine your voice as a therapist, and ultimately, it should help you feel more confident in the chair. If you work with me, you will become more comfortable with you, your strengths and your vulnerabilities! I will work alongside you to make sure that happens. Also, I will share articles and material that I think is relevant to your work.

My fee is $225 for a 50 min session. I am available and responsive to your needs outside of our meeting times as well.
